What is Dementia Friends?
“Dementia Friends” is about learning more about dementia and the small ways you can help. From telling friends about the Dementia Friends programme to visiting someone you know living with dementia, every action counts.
Dementia Friendly Keighley have local Dementia Champions who deliver this hour long session. They provide sessions in the community and are happy to deliver to ready-made groups of friends, colleagues or community groups.
We also run regular information sessions in the DFK centre based in the Airedale Shopping Centre.
