Information Centre and Service Co-ordinator
At the Information Centre in Keighley
This is an exciting opportunity to join or growing Dementia Friendly Keighly’s (DFK) information and advice team. The role is a rewarding one helping carers and people living with dementia by providing information and support to help them navigate the many complexities and concerns they may have about living with dementia for themselves, relatives or friends in relation to dementia.
Working with our Service Delivery Manager you will undertake face to face and telephone-based appointments working at either our main office in the Airedale Centre in Keighley or one of our outreach centres in the Bradford, Keighley and Craven area.
You will be responsible for answering and triaging telephone calls, responding to emails, and meeting and greeting people visiting each centre.
You will also be involved in some of our support groups and running peer support sessions.
Administrative duties will include but are not limited to keeping detailed records of service usage to be collated for reports to the board and funders, maintaining the client database; keeping the DFK website and social media messaging up to date; maintaining the appointment diary, filing and other office systems.
Training and support will be provided to help the successful appointee develop expertise where required.
