Dementia Friendly Keighley have teamed up with the Friends of Cliffe Castle group to raise awareness of dementia, and to launch their Wellness Walks.
The walks will be slow paced and approximately 1 mile in distance, and will aim to connect walkers to the sights, scents and sounds within the park. These walks will also be observing social distancing measures. The first session will take place on Wednesday 19th May from 10am.
Julie Lintern, Manager of DFK said, “We are delighted to be teaming up with Cliffe Castle to raise awareness of dementia, and also to launch a series of wellness walks organised by Cliffe Castle.
We will also be offering people to sign up for dementia awareness sessions, a relaxed and informative overview of dementia and its impact on the people living with it.”
