At Dementia Friendly Keighley (DFK) we aim to support people with dementia and their carers by raising dementia awareness and becoming a Dementia Friendly Town. We want to increase understanding of dementia amongst the population and change the way Keighley communities think, talk, and act about dementia.
Service Manager – DFK Main Centre Hub, Keighley
We are looking for someone to oversee the day-to-day operations of DFK’s main centre hub, providing support to individuals and carers affected by dementia. The Service Manager will lead a predominantly volunteer-run team, ensure compliance with governance standards, manage data, and coordinate fundraising and community events to sustain and expand services.
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week, flexible working) Location: DFK Main Centre Hub, College Walk, Airedale Shopping Centre, BD21 3PH
Funding and Monitoring Assistant (Governance) Hybrid Role
To support DFK’s long-term sustainability by securing funding and ensuring compliance with governance. This role involves supporting the development of grant applications, compiling reports, and maintaining accurate data for internal and external stakeholders.
Annual Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 pro rata Location: Hybrid will visit DFK Office, Keighley once a week BD21 3PH
To engage with people living with dementia and their carers across Keighley and surrounding villages through DFK’s network of community hubs. The role includes organising events, encouraging community participation, offering outreach support, and referring clients to DFK’s main centre for further services.
Hours: Part time 16 hours Location: Community Hubs across Keighley and surrounding villages (including travel to main centre in Keighley)
