At Dementia Friendly Keighley (DFK) we aim to support people with dementia and their carers by raising dementia awareness and becoming a Dementia Friendly Town. We want to increase understanding of dementia amongst the population and change the way Keighley communities think, talk, and act about dementia.

Positions available

Charity Manager

We wish to appoint a Charity Manager

  • To manage and oversee all aspects of DFK operations (premises; staff; volunteers; service delivery) to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Charity
  • To work closely with the DFK Board on all strategic aspects of DFK work, including ensuring the long term sustainability of DFK

Salary: £18,564  for 25 Hour Week

Hours: 25 hours per week – exact days and hours to be agreed on appointment. Occasional Saturdays for which time in lieu will be given

Location: DFK Information and Support Centre

Closing date: Friday 26th August, 5 pm 2022

Fundraising & Projects Co-ordinator

We wish to also appoint a Fundraising & Projects Co-ordinator

  • To lead on identifying and applying for funding to sustain existing, and develop new, services thus contributing to the longer term sustainability of support for people living with dementia and their families and carers in the Keighley district
  • To set up, plan and project manage DFK’s contracts so that they run efficiently, effectively and within budget.
  • To regularly report to the DFK Trustee Board and funding bodies on funding expenditure and project outcomes and milestones.

Salary: £10,516  for 16 Hour Week

Hours: 16 hours per week – exact days and hours to be agreed on appointment.

Location: DFK Information and Support Centre
