At the Information Centre in Keighley

Do you have an interest is working with People living with Dementia, their carers and families to support people to live well with Dementia?

At DFK we provide expert and professional support that is tailored to the needs of each person.

We are looking for someone eager to learn this rewarding and interesting role, and to develop indepth knowledge of this area. You might have personal experience of a relative who has lived with Dementia, or awareness from friends or family about the challenges people face and the type of help they need. You may have worked in a care setting previously.

Role and duties

You will work with, and be trained by, the Information Centre and Service Manager to deliver an exceptional service to the ‘clients’ who come into the Centre in Keighley, or who contact us by phone or other ways.

You will also need to have strong administration skills, be computer literate and be willing to get involved in a wide remit of tasks in order to ensure the service continues to function for the people who need it.  You will need to be resourceful and enjoy variety in your work. Salary £19,531 per annum for 30 hours per week until August 2024 – Funding dependent after this.

Role is based in the information Centre in Keighley with potential travel out into the local community.
